Graphic problem
« on: April 16, 2005, 08:37:12 AM »
(moved here from another location)
I have some quirk on my machine that only seems to appear in AH.
The other day I tried to install another graphics card, it didn't work, so it was back to the old one.
In the process, all drivers were updated.
Since then, the colours went funny. I cannot se on radar which is friend or foe, all the dots are black. Same with the radar circles, they are all black.
Tracers from tailguns and AA, - not my own tracers though, - are also black.
The surface of the ocean is a bit sandy, and the horizon is black.
There is probably more.
Any idea, anybody?
BTW, the Graphics card is an Nvidia 9200.
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

It's a graphic driver problem..... Had the same thing a while back.... Don't think you have the latest drivers.... or you didn't completely remove old/previous graphics  drivers

Sounds like an ATI card.  If so, get the 4.12 Catalysts and the problem will go away.
