I would like to see adding successful landing anywhere on field. Since so many ww2 aircraft used grass strips(some exclusively), why not model the game as such, instead of only on concrete. Also the "Ditch" with a gv, just because you aren't on concrete on base. However, why then do you get successful landings on grass near spawns?

Landing at the spawns was originally for tank town in AH1 Trinity, I think.
Landing off the AB strips is likely to never be changed.

I agree with the landing anywhere on the field and getting a successful landing.. I was playing the SEA event for the Coral Sea Battle and I was WAY low on gas in my TBM when returning home. I flew for about 20 min on max cruise at 1.5k feet being the only survivor of my bomber group to make it out of there alive.. I get to the air field and I run out of gas about 2 miles from the strip.. Threw down gear, flaps and was able to touch down.. However there was a cross wind and wasnt able to keep all my wheels on the pavement.. I think my tail wheel was still touching it but still, I was HOME and I got a ditch.. Really frustruating..

Ok since in some cases in the ETO the landing strip would be a feild kept trimed, why not model a 300ft by 1200ft flat feild as some of the smaller feilds. Could you see a squad of spits 6 abrest taking off at the same time? You would probably incure the ground looping issues with it.

I think HT needs more models for the game too. Preferably nude, but that might not be appropriate what with the new add campaigns.
