I save it, and it saves not only 190a5 but ALSO 190a8 in the same directory... Exactly what part of the A8 file is it using??

I was wondering the same thing.

When I saved the default skins to check it out, I noticed that the 190A81.bmp file is also downloaded with the 190A51.bmp file.

I replaced the 190f8 file (in the 190a5 directory) with a pure bright purple file (easier to spot) loaded up the viewer, selected the proper skin directory name, and examined it in detail from every angle. I could not see any bright purple spots on the entire plane.

Skuzzy, do you know what part of 190f81.bmp is being used in the fw190a5 skin?

It's a bug on the export.  The two planes do not share any exterior bitmaps.

Ahhh, many thanks, good sir!!

It was really bugging me that I'd be missing something vital.
