Hmm..Pope is anti-abortion, anti women priests, and he called 'conservative'......for last several hundred years ...(how far back Popes go? not Catholic) such things were NORMAL in the Church. Networks cant understand his extremist position

he didnt have a choice if he wanted to be a hilter youth..it was not a club you joined..german youths were forced into it or else..was manditory..if he didnt..would of been sent off im sure..lol.i heard the jews think very highly of him..i guess he is a great man

Not just anti-abortion. This is the guy that came out and said any public officials who support abortion should be (basically) excommunicated. They should be cut off from receiving Communion. His stance is that even voting for such a person is a sin. One person was quoted as saying if there has been a controversy in the last 20 years regarding the stance of the church, this guy has been in the middle of it. Good. The Church is supposed to stand for something, I'm glad someone remembered. Could be done a little more gently I think, but the direction is right. The new Pope has also said he would prefer a smaller, but more pure Church.
