Only thing I really noticed was that under XP64, AH2 'seemed' to run a hell of a lot smoother.

There's a 64 bit  ersion of XP, as well as a 64bit version of their server-OS. Obvuously one os for workstations and the other for servers. Regarding the use for home...that depends on what apps you intend to run.

SimHQ has put up a review of the 64bit XP gaming performance. It's all 32bit games/sims (due no lack of 64bit sims). Find it here.
