An easy way to get to Cuba is to stand in the Water in Key West screaming Cuba si...Yankee no... the Coast guard will give her a free trip to Cuba. Coming back to Florida she'll have to go the Ford pickup route.

Get a low fares airline such as Ryanair to Girona, Spain (LEGE). There you take the train or bus to Barcelona. Plenty of flights from Barcelona or Madrid to Cuba, and not at all expensive.

Errrm

Better to go to the States first, then Cuba via Canada? I've heard the US border guys are "especially interested" in people with Cuban visa stamps in their passports.

Just a thought...
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Maybe its easyer and cheaper to go that way and just go to Florida from Spain again?

Spain --> Cuba --> Spain --> Florida (via whatever)

Strange as it sounds, it may just be that way. Flights to Cuba from Spain are always full (low hotel prices), and flying to Miami ain't that expensive either.

That's a heck of a lot of lights just for a week in Florida.  Why doesn't she just go to Florida and make believe that she's in Cuba.  Just a thought.

My wife was born in Cuba.  We're waiting for Castro to die so we can reclaim her family's tobacco farm.  Yeah, right.  Like that's going to happen.  But she dreams....

Ahhh, Lauderdale by the sea.... used to be great beach dives if you were willing to swim a ways... has it changed?
