Good to see you Hangtime.:)

This is off subject, but reminded me about something.  Does anyone remember the toy tank sold years ago, mid-60s?, that had the walkie talkie controller with about a ten foot wire.  "Toy" is misleading because this thing was big, about thirty inches total length and about 16 inches wide.  It had a gun that fired a shell by spring action, and you could even place talcum powder in a special slot for the smoke effect.  Can't remember what it was called, but it was styled after an American tank and had a triangular decal with a tiger on it.

That was a lot of fun for an inexpensive toy tank. It had no suspension though and wasn't good on hills or uneven terrain.  But it looked pretty cool, and that was the best part.

Gtora2, I really thought you should know something, here is what the Pershing box says in small print:

:(

This RC Tank product contains chemicals that are known to the State of California to cause cancer, baldness and impotence. Immediately upon delivery please hand this product over to your local professional  chemical waste disposal agents. You can arrange a pick up time by emailing  greenheart@state.prc.gov

Thanks!

Looks like it will be a fun model, congrats.

You want a cheap way to build a 1/6 scale RC Combat Tank?

I was considering buying and building a Tamiya Tank, Just kept putting it off.

So I come home from work on my birthday and my girlfriend is like your birthday present in the car, but you have to carry it in. I was like Huh?

It was the Motorworks 1/6 Scale Tank, I had mentioned at Wally World one time how I thought it was cool.

Sucker is pretty strong and gets a good 35 45 minutes of time on the battery. I had her out in the Snow in Feburary. Then I stumble on a Tank Combat Site and this guy had a whole tutorial on how to customize it. Mine is just collecting dust at the moment, but I'm gonna try and do it.

Check it out:

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!
