... it also changed the 160+ students that are in my classes in a way that we/they may never understand. I am in a state of shock over this act of pure barbarism. I do not care if it was a "brilliant" plan or that we (meaning America) we taught a "small" lesson. It can only be called one thing. that is EVIL.
The only good thing about today is the many acts of heroism and resolve that has been shown by countless numbers of people in the face of such a heinous act. The acts of self sacrifice by members of the city services in NYC will forever be etched in my mind as what the true strength of any human being is - the act of self-sacrifice so that others may live.
