Last nights event in the CT Arena

CT Staffers I was told that the CT will run an event on Thrusdays "Close Escort" I think thats what it is called.
I have flown this on 3 occasions and I am very disapointed.
Here are the reasons,
1- The dot dar is on and we can see the bombers take off so you can hit them before they get there I think we hit them last night 2 sectors before they hit the target. I think you should have Friendly dot dar on and enemy dot dar off.
2- The tower based radar is way to big and over lapping you must set the radar circle smaller so the attacking bombers can fly around the radar circles.
3- to much waiting time for the evnt to start I showed up at 10 pm and it did not start until 10:30.

My personal opion is that the Combat Staffers need to do a better job if they want to run an event. I have flown in the CT many times on weekends and I just can not take the Furballing no more. You guys have a great arena but it needs to be better. I brought my whole squad over the last 3 thrusdays for this event. I also will say that I will not fly in the CT at all untill things get better. I think that its a waste of time if I want to furball I can goto the main. You guys need to change somethings up and change with the times. I also have talked to several pilots that left the CT cause it the same old thing.

I am not out to Offend anyone this is just my opion.

Last year we had a vote...  However you have to have so many hours of flight time in the CT before your vote is counted....  

Plus HTC has final say on the vote....

If the Arena was more apealing I would but like I said there is never anyone there or maybe 10 on a good night.

First couple of missions we did in the CT dot dar was off and field dar was set low to like 15 miles... problem now seems to be lack of a CM participation. I'm in the CT alot, more so than many. I've asked to be included as a CM but those requests have so far fallen on deaf ears. When elections come around again for CT staffers I ask for your vote... untill then its buisiness as usual.

the only reason that stuff wasnt takin care of is OM is the only staffer on duty and this was the first time he everything up. If Slash or Duke where there I think they would have set the dar up.


{Edit} this was the first time that you could see the dots and darbar so far back. every other time it was setup i think 25miles from an enemy base that it would start showing up. Its eather Stream or myself who set the missions up I have a page that I make to inform about the "TNM" click here check there every week for the info. All the missions that I setup are bombing raids cuz those are the most fun and gives the buff pilots a chance to do some group bombing.

yes I know it has to be done for that event and another thing as on the american side I was not aware of and line that we had to stay behind it was not told to us.

talk to skuzzy or slash i think they still have an opening from when i quit. I was told that slash was out cuz he had some sort of back problem you have to ask grits or another oen of his squadies.

Ive been unavailable during the week due to some real life issues. I tried to make it last night but it just wasnt happening. I plan more accordingly for next weeks mission or atleast get a staffer there to run things more smoothly. If anyones left in the CT next week.
