One thing I miss from Windows is the logical folder structure and ease of finding the files.

Dead.......

The interesting thing that Linux becomre more and more popular.... the amount of people that are interested in linux is gorwing at least that what I can see.

If I remember 3-4 years ago for someone like me Linux hadn't gave me all I need...
There was poor support of Office tools, I had problems installing hebrew, it had much more compartibility issues with HW........

When I returned to Linux 3 month ago I've figured out that........ It has all I need, even more it gives me more than I can get in Windows:

  • On my old computer it runs better because uses less resources then XP.
  • It had given me free OpenOffice (I allways had problems with PowerPoint presentation because hadn't M$ Office installed)
  • Much more configurable desktop..... I really miss multiple Desktops featcher in Windows. And other good stuff.
  • And I don't talk about development and huge amount of dev SW avialable.
  • And NO VIRUSES - that gave me some headache

The support MS adds for Linux - is simple..... It shows that linux become more and more dangerous competitor for Windows.

At this point I prefere to use Linux instead of Windows in allmost all terms... For someone else Windows is simpler/better........

But I like that there is good competitor for Windows.

One more....... At 64bit platform Linux leads now - because there is NO 64BIT WINDOWS...
