I'm quite sure this act of terror reflexes incidents in middle-east. I'm just wondering if Clinton could succeed when he tried to bring peace in Lebanon/Israel would this happen? Did he try enough? Has Bush jr done anything?

Well it is too late to speculate with that but its not too late to think forward from now on.

Clinton "tried his best" trying to mediate a peace between Isreal and the disenfranchised arabs.  Isreal offered their first born to Arafat and he turned them down.
