Gonna try and redo the ol' Fw190A-5s I did. I've always liked Egon Meyer.

Anybody doing them yet?

ps) oh, and anybody got Fw190A-5/8 templates done? Drilling all those holes and lines is such a boring job...

Kweassa im working on the A5 temp ill have it done later on today.

basic stuff done you know rivets panel lines bolts that kinda stuff.

got your two templates, but im having some trouble figuring out which layer is what LOL

asked in squad forum also, could you make the background for them white insteadof black? there is a bluish thing on the 190d template i can barely make out, and have no clue what it is, just above the fuselage.

its the stuff like that i think im going to have the hardest time with

JB73 are you talking about the item just to the right of the motor and about centered with it? If so that is the gun barrels.

If it's the item just above the canopy and to the right of the spinner that is the lower center fuselage area. It's got a blueish color closest to the spinner and then goes into a faded lime green color to the right.

well the one i noticed was above the front of the lower fuselage, i dont know where the engine is on the template.

there are some other random things too, because i have never done this, and i dont know a ton abotu planes and their equipment, i dont know what some parts are.

oh well, i can't work on it for a week anyway, going out of town.

will try again when i get back

Sounds like your definately talking about the guns. If I get a chance this weekend I'll mark each item with what they are.

Anyone have any references indicating what the Werknummer for Meyer's particular Fw190A-5 (Spring of '43) was? Had to leave the Wrk.nmr. out in the previous version of this skin.. and I'd hate to leave it out again...
