My how soon some forget the Shelby Cobra Daytona (65 or 66).  This car has NOTHING to do with Aston Martin.  I stood a foot from it back in January.

605HP, V10 under that All-Aluminum body.  Production model will be priced around $75,000, and have around 500-550HP.

What you just said is akin to someone telling Bob Shaw he looks like a pixie.

Swoop...I'm not commenting on the car...just the name.

I'm not understanding your point re Bob Shaw.  ;)

Hey...sue me.  I think a "Shelby" SOUNDS worse than a Pinto (for example).

Forget it?  I never heard of it!

And it does look like a DB9 from the front no matter what it's supposed to be based on.

iirc that's the Shelby Cobra GT concept. Saw it in person. While it dwarfed the Lotus Exige, it was still really small & cramped looking, just like the original 427 Cobras :)

This is a Series 1. It looks like the bastard offspring of a Corvette & a Miata.

Ahh there it is.  I couldn't tell in the other pic.  Yeah the one is the Shelby Cobra GT.  There was a Motor Trend article on it, I remember now.
