Author Topic: Can't select 1280X1024 (Read 257 times)

I select 1280X1024 in video setup. I'm using 1280X1024 on my Desktop. I'm also using the hiRes package at 1024.

Even though I select 1280X1024....I go back to check my in game resolution I find it set back to 1280X960 without me touching it.

So to eliminate lags on guns firing, clipboard appearing, and view hesitation I've changed my desktop to 1280X960 also. It solved my problem but why can't I use 1280X1024?

Athlon64 3400

ATIx800Pro

2 gig system memory pc3200.

Also rolled bck my driver. Was using the 6:14;0010 now back to the 50 series. View lag gone and guns fire upon pressing of trigger.....also rubber bullits have disappeared.

Oh have Sony 21" monitor with refresh rate of 85.

No reason I can see why I can't use 1280X1024 without game switching me to 1280X960.

Rob....saw that thread. Edited the video8.cfg file. Did no good.

I select 1280X1024 in vid setup,apply, exit and play the game.

After starting the game again....go to vid setup and I'm 1280X960.

So evidently the game won't let me play in 1280X1024 for whatever reason.....it reverts me to 1280X960.

Seems that everytime you go to vid setup it puts you back to 1280x960, to check next time look at the vidconfig file and see if it is still at 1280x1024 and if it is then it is good to go. That is how mine is anyways
