I'm so excited! I got my motor back from the shop that built the bottom end. Here are a couple of pics.
The heads come in on Monday.
In these pics, you can see a couple of interesting things like where the shop had to grind away part fo the block to make room for the rod bolts now that the motor is a 383. Also, my friend thought it was impressive that the manufacturer put their name on the underside of the pistons... whatever makes him happy.

Open pic - Modify- Image Size - 800X600 ( even 600X450 will work for web pics) File- Export Wizard - Continue - Continue (for web) - Exit - Export jpeg 80% - Save as -

Now people can see your pictures better, and dialup sers will get them before tomarrow.
