I realize the Allies are favored to get points when it comes to the targets. I honestly thought they would not have faired so well. I expected more losses from the Allied AC side and less for the Axis...
I definitely did not want to give the Axis more ground targets because by this time in the war they were mostly defending. Also attacking forces the Allies below the defending Axis planes, again giving the Axis an advantage. Lastly the Axis really don’t have any large ordinance carrying planes.
Taking past experiences into accout, I would agree with this. I would much rather defend than attack. The exceptional performance of the Tempest at low alts, and the absence of a bomber force to protect, made it harder on the defenders in this case. I think DD read the results fairly, and is right on track here.

Personally before I would run this again I would make some changes. At least going by frames 1 & 2.
1. I might give the Axis more Me-262’s.
2. I would require the A20’s be used every frame.
3. I would require an even distribution of Allied aircraft and the use of them. They have 6 aircraft to choose from. I would require they use at least 5 and each one of the 5 to be approximately 20% of the aircraft flown.
4. Possibly making the ground targets worth less. Maybe 150 points each instead of 200.
Excellent ideas, I am not sure about #4 since both sides can score on any given ground target for defending or attacking, and #3 seems a little too restrictive. I would think applying all these ideas would be considered stacking the deck, but you are keenly aware of the issues, and trust you will make it as fun as always DD. It is a difficult balancing act to get the setups just right. Hard to predict what will happen, but easy to second guess afterwards. Keep up the good work Daddog.
