to have all Americans wear red white and blue
tomorrow (Friday) in honor of those who died, blue jeans a red and white shirt, whatever, put out a flag also.

I mean absolutely no disrespect, but should we be more concerned that people don't forget about these patriotic feelings a week from now?  Americans are fickel, most could care less what's going on as long as their little world is not threatened.  Then, something like this happens, and all of a sudden it's popular to be patriotic.  Most will go back to their normal "don't care" attitude in a matter of days.  Patriotism is great, but don't let it dissapear.

Greese, perhaps the maintaining of the patriotic feelings could be assisted by not immediately rendering criticism of your fellow citizens. You want to help them keep it going? Don't automatically predict it's going to slow. Talk UP your fellow patriots, don't just call them fair weather soldiers.
