Any of the CSI series (although as they progress I get less interested)

Any of the Law & Order series (see above), although SVU is pretty good.

House is a darn good doctor show.  Irreverent, funny.

The Shield is awesome.  Nuff said.

SciFi I like Stargate: Atlantis.  SG-1 was an improvement over the movie, but I still never could really get into it.  Atlantis rocks.

Lost is pretty good too, but it seems to be hot and cold for me.  Sometimes I'm wrapped up in it, trying to figure out the mysteries, other times I cant seem to like it.

I just saw the commercial for 4400, and I must say it looked pretty cool. Never heard of it until then.

Taken was mini series, about 6 episodes, Produced by Spielberg, it was good, I watched it and enjoyed it.

Im not to big into SciFi.

I usually find myself watching History International, Military Discovery Science, Times, Health. I just wish they would produce some new programming, I usually only watch the History Channel when I see a program that looks good. Then late nights im watching Adult Swim :D

Speaking of Adult Swim, was interested in knowing if anybody here visits or read there Forums.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I thought "Stand by me" on Fox was alright. (Was series about firefighters, always been into firefighter movies, "backdraft" is one of my favorites.)

The crabbing season, dont know real name and too lazy to look it up, on the Discovery channel was cool, only 3 episodes or there abouts.

Flava Flave!!!!!!!!! Dont watch Strange love, whatever you do.

I'm there from time to time. I watch quite a bit of Adult Swim. Futurama, Family Guy, Harvey Birdman, Robot Chicken, ATHF, Sealab. My favorite is The Venture Brothers.

I agree... firefly was the best ever.

I also bought all the "Combat" series available.   I just got the second season of "have Gun-will travel" and it is as good as the first.

Laz,

I just received "Firefly" this week which I bought on your recommendation.    Enjoyed the first episode and am looking forward to the rest of them.

Thanks!

Both my sons would love "Combat!" I think, though the series I remember better from my yout was "12 o'clock High".   I wonder if that is available on DVD?

oboe... you are welcome.

I don't know your sons ages or tastes but the Have gun will travel series is a very good one.   The moral value is very high in my opinion and it is clever beyond any writing you see today.   The man is an opera and poetry fan who lives in a 4 star hotel and was a graduate of west point and was in the war... he sends his card (have gun-will travel) out based on interesting articles in the paper.

He often changes his support based on the morality of the situation.  He allways trys to do the right thing.

Very good show to let boys watch.  Richard Boone is so cool that you forget he is a pock marked gravel voice with an enormous honker and a used car salesman mustache and it becomes believable that all the women can't resist him....

now that is acting.

Lost:
Was ok, got hoocked at the start... but in the end, it's just a fancy episode of "Survivor"...  I liked the "John Lock" character a lot.

Firefly:
Good stuff, didn't like the 1st episodes (I missed the pilot, and saw it afterwards). There's another BALDWIN I discovered in that one(How many are there???), he's one of my fav characters . I looked at the trailer of the upcommin "Serenity" movie... that li'll girl sur kicks some ***! there are 15 episodes so far.. I hope they plan on carying this one on!

Taken: Am only at episode 4 so far (80 mins/episode). The story is pretty good, some characters are a bit bland... but all in all, not bad so far. (You *realy* start to dislike that colonel after a while...)

The Shield:
Am not too fond of Cop series... but that bald guy seems ok in my book (;)) ... can't say I've been "waiting" to see the next episode, but it looks better than your average "Polic blues" cr**.
Saw
Dirty, nasty furriner.
