"The tired part isn't so bad... it's the bruise that it's putting on my bellybutton that's killing me.

ahh.. now I get it.... the whole thing is a scam to explain the bruise on your ass.

and no.... I don't particularly want to see that either.

"I'm with lazs, "

he means in a manly, hetro kind of way of course.   Not a spandex butt bruised way.

Food for thought Sandy...

I did the same thing a few years ago. Decided to ride the bike the couple miles to Blockbuster to return a DVD. On the way back, at the first intersection, a 98 Dodge Ram decided not to wait for me to clear the crosswalk before making a right on red.

I strongly suggest staying on the dirt.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Got my first biff today!

I wasn't paying attention... trail was largely straight and level and I drove past a fork that I thought I should have taken... I started to slow with the rear brake as I looked left at the other trail, and then I tapped the front break a bit too firmly... and I went over the top.

Couple of skinned knees and a bent up rear derailer. Off to the shop tomorrow.

Gawdamn, I'm having fun though.

Thats a fine bike Sandman. I have a Scott myself and its a great way to stay in shape, and lots of fun! Not to far from my home we have a nice dirt downhill track that we use a couple of times a week. I havent injured myself yet, but I know i will some day. :) My bike only has suspention in the front cause it think bikes feels abit soft when they have them in the back too, but I kinda wish I had them when i go downhill.

Well... my wife decided that she must have one also so rather than buy another of the same type, I went for a slight upgrade (and she gets the KHS).

Bike #2 is a Trek. :)
