I know that this technically violates the "until someone gets 'em all right rule" but all the right answers have been posted and I need to send out the order tomorrow if at all possible, as it is the only free time I'll have to do so for the rest of the week. I'm sick and currently taking care of the boys. (plus who knows if I'll have enough cash after tomorrow ;) )

Hey Thrawn, please send me your mailing address:

Outstanding Holden! Normally the botanicals are suspended in a basket inside the still and only the rising vapors touch them.

sir keep up the trivia, but honestly, there is no such thing as "intardnet proof"

local morning show had a contest "you can't win" for the last 25 years (YES then invented the game)

now it's "who can google the answers fastest"

thay have gone to questions, "where can i find this quote? XXXXXXXXXXX"

and the answer required is what book, what volume / whatever/ what page / what paragraph

LMFAO

they have had questions like "what is mike ditkas mother's recipie for XXXXXX" which was published in an obsucre book 20 years ago LMFAO

only questions like that are "intardnet proof" ; )
I don't know what to put here yet.

Glad to hear it Thrawn,

I was panicking when they wrote 2-5 weeks delivery. I guess that was to cover their bases for the northern Gold, Tundra, and Carribou provinces.

Enjoy and Congrats again,

Seagoon...

If you liked that book, just curious if you have read any of Thomas Cahill's stuff?  I have "How the Irish saved civilization," and "Sailing the Wine Dark Sea, why the Greeks matter" at home.  I'll have his others as soon as I can get the orders in.  :)  He has a very easy to read style.

Star,

The only thing I've read by him so far was the book "How the Irish Saved Civilization" which I first heard reviewed on Mars Hill Audio (which was developed by Ken Meyers who put together the All Things Considered format for NPR)

It was indeed an enjoyable read, far too few authors know how to really make history come alive and impress modern readers (who generally have a natural tendency towards chronological arrogance) with the importance of the events of the past. I think Cahill has that knack.
