I believe so.  My wife says there is...and she bought it.

Its my dads really, but I have been "looking after it" for him for a few years. I have given him a citizen because i am sure it looks better on him.

I have one.

I take it in for service about every five years. It usually costs a few hundred dollars.

There is not a lifetime warrenty but they will fix anything that goes wrong for a more or less resonable price.

My daughter dropped mine and broke the indestructable crystal face glass. It cost about 700 Canadian to have it fixed but that included taking apart the watch to remove every little fragment of glass, putting it all back together with new seals and pressure testing it.

Mine is now going on 17 years old. I bought it new. With the rough way I live (swimming, working on rigs for the first half of its life, diving, playing sports)  I would have gone through a cheaper watch a year. So I figure I am ahead as far as cost.

Each time you take it in for  a service or to get it fixed they give it back with a new 1 year warrenty.

I had a Mickey Mouse watch minus a band for years in my pocket. I stopped using it after I got a cellphone.

Nilsen, I've had mine since 1987.  I have it serviced every few years and it's usually a couple hundred bucks.  Have had the crystal replaced twice and have had the dial redone.  They can re-polish the crystal a couple of times before it needs to be replaced.  Mine is an everyday watch.  Never take it off and it gets it's share of abuse.  If you need to have any work done on it, I would recommend you make sure the person servicing it is a certified rolex repair person.

No problem there. The Rolex dealer in our city is the best in the country and selected by the royal family to do all the clocks in their castles. Sounds pretty silly but they make a big deal about it so..

Think i'll have it tuned soon if i can afford it that is :D
