Really? I thought the BK's style was all about 1v1. Anyone killing a plane that was engaged with someone else is considered a no-no, so why bother to fly as a pack? Don't they know that you're only supposed to kill those cons not currently engaged with someone else? If you want to kill someone, you're supposed to make an appointment. (Nopoop maintains the appointment book) :aok <-- especially for nopoop!

But on a serious note, the one period when I flew in an organised team was when moonlighting with a very well organised squad who called themselves the Scanian Griffins - about 5 years ago in WB. The keywords? Well not skill, obviously, as I never had any. The keywords were organisation & communication. No need for a pack - we could clean up with just 3 or 4 190s. The only time I got killed flying with those guys came as the result of a prop strike. No shame in that - even Gabreski did it!

BTW, Gabreski was a timid RL WW2 P47 pilot - he once dealt with a 109 on his 6 by sinking into clouds and changing direction, instead of turning to fight it. He should have been grounded for his timidity:
  • for not turning to fight;
  • being above 2K at the time.

Beetle, do you realize that you just flamed the same squad in 3 (debateably 4) different threads?

Are you bitter about something, or do they just plain owe you money?

The dealings I've had with the BKs has been nothing but cordial, they don't deserve your snide comments.

LOL Porky! I noticed you following me around - thought I'd stepped in something.

The only BK I've ever met was Nopoop - and he & I go way back - mates etc. Oh, and Lazs of course.

Funny how you should pick up on my posts, but you seem blind to posts which castigate about 90% of the player base for how they play the game - replete with snide comments about their gameplay style.

What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander - fair's fair, eh?

Redd! I'm holding you to that date at Melbourne cricket ground. Might have to make it 2006, so I can arrive by A380! :cool:

We just widened the runway at melbourne Airport so that fatboy can land . You are just trying to put it off in the faint glimmer of hope that the pommies will discover some cricketing ability before you arrive.  I'd suggest   2016 might improve your chances of that happening   ;)

Look forward to taking you to "the G"
