They have no excuse or right to be on the road, let alone a right to be in the US.

Frenchy, people like you do things legaly are being trampled by millions of illegals who just walk across our borders and get every benifit the US can hand them...... no questions asked.

Maybe you need to re read what I said? What part of TRY do you not get. The legislature tries and we vote it down or it gets vetoed.

You are being foolish if you think giving DLs to ilegals is going to change a damn thing about them driving uninsured cars.

They just won't register them. Or they will get insurance for a day then drop it just to get the tags.

I know that Nuke, but the Illegals are not animals that you can park. Those are people like you and me that have a life, and part of it is do get from A to B, for the same reasons as us (work/familly/grocery shopping).

If they had the balls to leave everything they knew to come in USA, it's not "u should not drive" that is going to stop them. Most illegal I know, work their but off in construction jobs, make money, have a life like you. Except they are illegals, so they can't get back in status with INS except by some magic costly loopyloop. So, they don't pay taxes, don't get car issurance, and  live a normal life with a damocles sword above their heads.

try to remove them of the road, and next thing they will do is to steal a car every morning to get to where they need to go. I believe it's foolish to try to manage them once they in USA. Heck, give them a driving licence, an inssurance, and let INS pick them up the next week thank to the Fed/state x-soed database.

The thing is, INS doesn't give a penny about Luis Lopez. As an example, when I was illegal they always knew where I lived. They never came to "pick me up". And I was flying airplanes with radioactive stuff in it:rolleyes:, legally declared to the FAA. You would think it would have raised a concern.

GtoRa2, I stand by my words, as Cali doesn't keep trying to GIVE licences, but keep trying to NOT GIVE licences. I assume Cali ment "California State", DMV being a part of it.

I'm a bit of a dreamer, I know. But I still believe that u need to give a chance to the ones who try. What u have to loose anyway, better have 20% of illegals inssured rather than none, as restricting their driving privileges will not prevent them from crossing the border anyway.

I know they are hard workers and people like you and me. That does not excuse them. They are breaking our laws and every last one of them should be deported.
