So what did Neaderthal and Cromanian primarialy eat during their development out of the last Ice Age? Snow cones, or a very high protein diet due to the climate? And the Neolithic hunters following the land bridge into NW america after the animal herds? Or the ansestors of all the peoples of Asiatic Russia, Mongolia, and Indo Europe? Meat eaters due to the climate.

Africa had an easy climatic weather cycle during the Neolithic era. The ice bound areas did not. The protein and intelligence theory have been argued over. But it does seem to look like the descendants of high protein eaters created our modern technological society. I guess Mastadon were good for something after all.

Nonsense, civilization started out with farming - farming of crops.

If your idea was correct why didnt eskimos come to dominate the world? They eat only protein and fats.  Same for the high protein diets of plains indians in more temperate climates.

Also you should know that meat is incredibly expensive and during the past 10,000 years going back to the romans and greeks and early civilizations the vast majority europeans subsidesd on vegetarian diets of grain and mush.  Especially so in the last few thousand years, the exact time the technology advantage you speak of evolved.

There are a million valid reasons why northern colder climates developed into stronger economies but your false idea of meat consumption is not one of them.

But the "early man" you speak of still lives on the eastern african plains - hardly a cold northern climate.

There is an important evoloutionary aspect to humans being omnivores, no doubt,  but that applies to all humans, as we are all pretty much identicial inside once you get beyong the topical racial aspects such as colors and shapes and certain local diseases resistances.

Its a little more complex than that.  I have read a few books on the subject.  Something caused humans to stay in the developmental stage much longer than other animals.  From age 0-12 months, a human baby and a chimpanzee baby have the same intelligence.  But after 12 months, the human babies brain keeps growing and he surpasses chimp.  I believe its really this extremely long developmental stage that gives humans their intelligence.  Chaulk it up as a freak mutation and a stroke of luck.
