Ac3D Guru for you...
« on: May 16, 2005, 08:06:01 PM »
hey guys,  Thought I'd post here to say hey and if any of you have questions about Ac3D i'm here.

I've been using Ac3D since 1999 and I'm on the alpha test team for the modeler and I know the maker.  Andy has done some amazing things since the first few releases and is always looking for input on how to make it better.

Any questions on use, tricks, and or anything else just ask.

A nice implimentaion would be to implement selectable mirroring on the X,Y for tiling for mapping.

I have yet to find a plugin for it that will do what I want it to do -
If you know where I can find it let me know.

In the TCE when you check "tile" for mapping....you have the "tiled" texture as the backround to map on - well this image is the one that would be nice to have mirrored.

What they need to do is every time they release a new version, allow another trial.

I tried AC3D quite a few versions ago and it won't let me run the version 5 trial because of that.
