The worlds most famous, most supported sports club with well over a century of history is now under total control of a clueless, red headed yank, and millions of pounds in debt.

and i love it.

Arrgh!! football is gonna end up like F1 racing.
"Willy's gone and made another,
Something like it's elder brother-
Wing tips rounded, spinner's bigger.
Unbraced tailplane ends it's figure.
One-O-nine F is it's name-
F is for futile, not for fame."

Umm you mean it isn't already?

Pop-quiz:
Chelsea are champions because

a) they are a club with a long history of league success.

b) they developed their talent and worked hard to build success over the last 10 years.

c) Roman Abramovich has more cash than you can shake a sh**ty stick at.

The difference is, Roman Abramovich actually likes Chelsea, and is investing money into Chelsea to make them successful.
The yank whos bought united looks like he has only purchased them so he can sell shirts to the chinese, and americans.
The real concern is that he could saddle united with the cost of funding his enterprise.

At least the mad russians been to a priemer league game...

Man United? Is that a gay dance troupe?
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

First, he's gonna make everyone call it a "soccer club".
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
