really? all? I quit before they were popular but I have heard that the microbreweries have quite a selection. I think saying that there are no good North American beers is like saying that because you tried a twist off top gallow gallon of wine there are no good American wines.

I have plenty of beer in my fridge that is North American and it definitely is not lacking in any way. Now the fact that I make it myself might have something to do with it, but it is still North American.

And there are a lot of micros and small brewery restaurant places that are turning out a lot of very good beers now here in the states. Everybody should go out and support these places as much as possible and maybe BudMillerCoors will get a hint and start producing beer that tastes like beer again instead of the post-Prohibition crap they have been turning out for the last 70 years.

Beer snobs. Drink what ya like, and like what ya drink.

Bud gives me the runs, so I stay away from it.
Coors Light is fine for cooling down the tonsils when eating spicy wings.
However, the best beer I ever had was in Germany.

I know a restaurant which brings in the same German brew (not on the up and up mind you as the alcohol content is not down to U.S. standards). Yummy.

I have to agree with skuzzy. my cousin brought over a case of grimbergen from belgium (that's a large city in nothern france) which we enjoyed alot. i cried as i drank the last liter.

I hear if you work at the Coke factory you get a couple cases a week or whatever, at least the lady that lives next to my grandparents does. Same should go for beer, you work for them, they give you free or cheaper beer.
