Game Crash when launching
« on: May 20, 2005, 02:57:20 PM »
I  am hoping someone can help me out. Whenever I spawn a P-38 (any model) my screen turns pure white, I receive an error message, "Aceshigh.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.", then aceshigh closes and the system resturns to my desktop. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it? All my drivers are the most recent. Thanks.

You know, the only time my 'puter has crash, "blue screen of death" was when I was flying a P38. I think it was the G but can't be sure.

Go to(double click on) My Computer> C drive(or whatever drive you use-in redballs case it might be D)>Program Files>HTC>Aces High II>cache and delete the offending plane(s). You will be issued a new one when you log on again. I suggest deleteing the skinned version (the ones that have a extra 2 through whatever at the end) as the basic file is in there too.  This USUALLY fixes this type of problem.
