Here was the Japanese plan for Friday night.

332nd Flying Mongrels rolled in Ki-67’s with torpedos from A8 and headed for the sectors that had the enemy task group. My radio went out early on so I had no vox communication with anyone. Flight was uneventful till we were in the 6.9 sector. Next thing I knew 2 P-38’s flew overhead and were attacking ghosth. I started giving check 6 calls left and right to alert everyone. Spits came in the picture and smoke trails were seen all over the sky. Some of our Ki-67’s were going down, but I had seen some P-38’s and Spits go down also. Our close escort was very busy. It was at this time I spotted the enemy task group just north of us. We turned north and made a run on them. We sunk one ship flying right through the task group. Already overhead were some friendly fighters which helped to draw the ack away from us. After our run several limping and damaged formations headed back to A1. One the way home one P-38 came in and ghosth drew him off so the rest of us could get away. I never saw either one again. What seemed like a long time later land was in sight. With two Ki-67’s in my formation (one with only 1 engine) it took a while. While on final I lost my connect.

Daddog did you get the Allied orders I sent you? I sent them out
first thing this morning, then got ready for my youngest
daughter's HS graduation!!:D YEEEHAAAAAA!!!
Now for college. BANK of DAD is going broke!:eek: HELP!!!

Youngest getting out of HS! Oh man! My youngest is 4 and the only thing she asks for from me every day is for a piggy back ride.

Where is she going to college? Any idea yet?

She plans on going to local branch of NMU to get AA. In what
I don't know.

Ahh piggy back rides, I remember them well. Along with horsey.
