online there is a training arena for new people.

i may guess you are too fast to put the gear down though. most planes you have to be below 180 MPH, some more some less....

if the gear is down and you exceede those speeds the gear will break off. you will hear stress sounds before this happens.

the help pages are really helpful:

Welcome!!

You can drop gear down only below 200mph. Same goes for flaps.

check out http://www.netaces.org for more info..

log on into the TA (training are) open the clipboard, click on roster,
find the trainer tab and if there is one there I'm sure you'll get help.

jhcjus,
Welcome to Aces High and what's your gameID in the game?
Most people in the Training Arena are usualy very helpful. If you want an official trainer, look for a member of the Aces High 2 Training Corp.
A very good A to Z on Aces High2 website is http://www.netaces.org and as mentioned a read over of the help file is also recommended. Stick with one plane and learn it and maneuvering before you branch out to other planes. A good starter plane is the Spitfire MkV, the Spit 5.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

and to add to fuzeman's good post, I recommend to not lower your gear until you hit 150 or slower, to be sure to not stress it or rip it off. unless you are flying the F4U series of planes, then you can drop gear down up to 400 mph with nop worries.
