This weekend I got 3 kills on planes "filling my windscreen" and when they exploded I heard a sound like I had been hit by something.   Never got a message or credit for the kills.  Anyone else experience this?

The hitting sound was most likely debris since you were so close, not sure why you would get credit.

I had something like that, but I did get the kill about 2 or 3 minutes later. Its weird, because when it happened, I didn't have the film running. Well when it got freaky (like the plane just floated into the ground without giving me a kill), I turned the film on. Well it was recording when I finaly got the kill message. When I went back to look at the film, it showed the plane I shot down at negative distance to me in the range indication (e.g.. "

-789 yards")

I've never seen a negative distance in the range indicator before.

- neg distance means that your closing on them (or faster speed)

+ pos dustance means they are going faster then you (or away from you)

I mean in the data section of the film viewer - the range column. As far as I know, there should never be a negative number there.

Rosco that range in the film viewer is different than the range used with enemy cons.  I have that happen in the film viewer when trying to rewind a film.
