Nuke good luck to you in the heat. You picked a great area to be in. Az is one of the fastest growing communities and I think you will have work for a long time. I know a lot of So Cal folks buying up homes and property their.

Hey Nuke, I know a guy who's getting ready to build a big sports pavillion, including a indoor soccer field.
Let me know if you are interested. (Jobs in N. VA.)

my advice about working in the heat is get "thermotabs" or whatever the drug store calls salt tabets there. if sweat out your salt you cant retain water so water will go right through you. and no table salt will not work its the wrong kind of salt. dont take them if you have hypertension though. good luck.

Good luck with your new venture.

Twelve years ago I took a small amount of money and started an import business. Today it has nothing in common with the business I started as I had to tweak and retweak the product lines.

I started and sold a retail business along the way and this month I am in talks to sell the remainder of the business. I plan on retiring and spending the next year flying for fun and looking at a number of other business ventures I have been thinking of starting.

Working for yourself is great as long as you remember all the advantages you have over working for others.

Thanks again everyone.

Flit, I can email you about that job.

About the heat...I grew up here.  I used to work out in the heat 6 days a week for seven years, but that was when I was young. Now I'm 40 and haven't worked outside in a long time, so I'm a little concerned about how I will hold up.

We do have a website ( I'm working on it now) and we decided on a name. http://www.arizonaprogreen.com ( don't laugh ) I'll have it filled with content in a few days in time for our print adds.

The grass drains pretty much like normal grass does and it's durable enough for pets, playground areas and such. It can be hosed off if you spill something on it. If you spill something like paint, you might have problems though.

I'll post some pictures of our first jobs when they are done.

Thanks again for all the advice and kind wishes.

Damn good choice of a name. I think.
Catchy,Easy to remember and fits the job.
Be amazed how a name alone will get you phone calls simply because they liked the name.

I'll be damned, it looks almost identical to real grass from what the picture shows.

You say it stands up well to animal waste? or just pets in general

Curious what that stuff goes for a square foot?

You might want to think about revising your html code a bit:
