Cheat Coad???

Not really, but...

Isn't there a dot command for unlimited ammo in offline mode?  I want to try some ballistics testing with big guns but their ammo is limited.

If no such command exists, pardon my ignorance (it is in abundance lately...)

No dot command, BUT when offline, go to Setup->Arena Setup->Environment->Arena Settings from the clipboard menu and choose PlaneGunAmmoMult.

you can pick from .5 (1/2 normal) to 10 (10 times normal loadout).

doesn't that affect the way the plane flys? as in extra weight from the ammo, especially if you are 10 times the normal amount?

HiTech has stated before that multiplied ammo loads do not affect plane performance more than the ammo load prior to multiplying.  So with all of your ammo at 10x multiplier, you weigh as much as a plane with all of its ammo at 1x multiplier.  At half of your ammo load, your plane weighs just as much with a 10x multiplier as it does with a 1x multiplier.

I glanced quickly at Rightys question, didn't see the testing ballistics part til just now..so he prob is in auto pilot or auto angle anyhow


but still good to know, is first time I ever heard it in the past 4 or 5 years , that weight was and/or was not affected by the multiplyer.....

An unnamed Guru told me when I started playing this game 2 years ago that Alt f4 would give me unlimited ammo, plane armor like a tank and a hot blond in the cockpit.



But when I use it, I keep seeing Brad Pitt waving good bye and I get discoed.

You can use multipliers higher than 10 as well. In your ammo counter it'll appear as OOR (out of range) and that gives you unlimited ammo as it never starts counting down.
