A&E is making a film adaptation of Sen. McCain's book about his time as a POW. It will air Memorial Day. Looks to be a very good adaptation of a very good book.

Those guys went through a tremendous amount of pain and suffering to be silent.   I've read a few books on Vietnam POWs.  Some of the things the vietnamese wanted to know were (1) The firing parameters of laser guided bombs, and (2) The specifications of radar in A6s and F4s.  The used rope torture to try to extract this information.

McCain is one of the few Republicans I'd vote for, but the movie is not about politics. It's about surviving and dedication.

Of course you would and... after the movie the pollsters will probly have some glowing reports to send to the RNC.

The movie is a trial balloon.

Just what I was thinking.

He is playing the "I'm in the middle" card right now and looking around to see who likes it.

I can think of worse people to be president.
I have been reborn a new man!

Notice I never said a better man.
