Err gentlemen, this has to do with a botched contractual agreement, not the donation of sperm.

The dude botched the contract and is now paying for it.

what you guys are forgetting is the fact that this is a court case and a ruling here sets precidence.  In other "similar cases" this ruling could be used to make a decision elsewhere.

That's the scary part about our court system, a slick lawyer with precidence can do just about anything with the right judge in place.

The way I read that is no matter WHAT (any contract be damned) a biological parent cannot waive his/her rights nore his/her responsibilities.

Here is an interesting precidence for over turning Roe vs. Wade. It takes 2 to create the fetus........................ .....Biological parents(plurality) cannot waive the interests of a child.

All the pro-lifers have to do is get precidence and a bit more conservitve SCOTUS.

I agree with you completly.  Even though the woman is the "incubater" for the child a father should have just as many rights to it as a woman does.

Getting more conservatives on the SCOTUS probably aint gonna happen.

This is just another example of the inequities of father's rights when it comes to children.
