Can't stay connected
« on: May 27, 2005, 06:57:01 PM »
I'm having all sorts of problems staying connected for more than a minute.

I've done a ping plot and it looks like Saavis is dropping TONS of stuff, am I the only one being affected?

First time its happend to you like this?   I go through that situation now and then, so do others.  could be your ip having server problems,  phone line screwed up some where,  Ah server screwing with you.  If it keeps up more then a few hours, I'd suggest contact Mr. skuzzy  he "the man" in that area  :)   I've had it screw with me for  a whole day, and never knew what the problem was.  Unless you've messed with your internet settings or something  its not on your end probley.  its the servers dude , its them.  :)  should be short lived problem if just started.

It's not "the servers" dude.  He stated the problem in his post.  Savvis.  If you look in the Tech Support forum, at the very top is a "sticky" thread that says "Need help from the community", and its all about Savvis and their crappy service.  Savvis LA.  Savvis Chicago.  Savvis St. Louis.  Savvis Denver.  Every one of those cities has been a problem point at one time or another for the last 6 months. Take a ping plot and post it in that sticky thread, more evidence for Skuzzy the Jedi to use in his battle against the evil Savvis Empire.

May the Farce be with you.

I hope this is the reason. Because getting disco'd every 15 min is the suck.

No kidding, 'dude', I know its not HTC and that is why I said it was Savvis in my original post. Also, I've posted my ping plot in that thread you mentioned, a long time ago.

Thanks for the input, not that it did me a whole lot of good. :)
