Anybody from seattle remember a night club in the U district called The Underground ? Is it still kicking? Used to be a favorite haunt of mine in the early 90s.

I should've never tried to grow up

if ur after the pheonix underground it is still there, they had to close it for a while after the big quake .  Its down in the pioneer square bar hop loop . not up in the U dist .
We  used to "haunt" the upstairs of it .

Looks like it closed in '95. I found a yahoo group called the underground survivors network.

It's kind of strange to me that all us X eating teenage ravers are now 30 somethings. Just doesn't seem that long ago.

I figured there'd be at least one other person on this board who knew of that club.

I used to hang out at O'Bannion's in the U District. We had the house across the alley rented and it was 24 steps from our backdoor to their's.:D
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

My old favorite watering hole when I was an angry 20-something.  Still have no idea what I was so angry for...but I was.
