booms and nacels templates and rivets finished but not weathered like the wings yet.

kirbys scheme is done but the layer disabled on this shot.

I am using a different technique used here for shading the wing what do you guys think of it?

wing shading look right or too heavy?
Fester was my in game name until September 2013

I love it, actually! Right on! You'll be the only one looking at it (doubt you'll notice weathering if you're fighting the 38, you'll be concentrating on killing it). And if I were looking out my port side I'd like the way that OD was fading!

Question: Did you use the rivets to get that effect, or did you mark out each area by yourself and add color to it?

how did he paint the top of the nacelles?  it blurrs

is this a new model and did is it a 2048 texture?

Man that is great - I swear I can almost see deformation in the sheet metal around the rivets...

Damn fine work. Rivet deformation, and much more subtile/smooth than what I had attempted. Fantastic.
