Must have been a really slow news day.
Do not attribute to malice what can be easily explained by incompetence, fear, ignorance or stupidity, because there are millions more garden variety idiots walking around in the world than there are blackhearted Machiavellis.

He received one D in his four years, a 69 in astronomy  Bush has said he was a C student
reading these parts, what is the problem?
I don't know what to put here yet.

Being better in politics is not always a good thing. (IMO) Maybe you count it as a plus but I don't. The only reason i put that quote in is because it shows he "he went on to be a top student at Naval Candidate School..."

Ah, but you see, Gore and Kerry failed to achieve high scores because they spent their educational careers partying and drinking and enjoying life:

"Last year, when an analysis of Kerry's Navy aptitude test showed that Bush actually had a higher IQ, the top Democrat blamed his lackluster performance on drinking.

"I must have been drinking the night before I took that military aptitude test," Kerry told NBC anchorman Tom Brokaw.

President Bush suffered the same type of derision during the 2000 campaign, when critics regularly portrayed him as intellectually inferior to Al Gore.

Gore attended divinity school after graduating from Yale. But transcripts from Vanderbilt University showed that he received F's in five of the eight classes he took over the course of three semesters.

Gore left Vanderbilt without receiving a degree.

While on the other hand, Bush was of course stone-cold sober throughout college and the Air Guard and struggling to make his "C" average. He only did Coke and got blitzed on breaks.

Just think, Custer graduated 34th in a class of 34 from West Point but went on to be the youngest general in the Union army during the Civil War. Patton did not graduate in the first level of his class at West Point.

What do school grades have to do with innate intellegence?

Each of us have inate tallents that school is not designed to illuminate at their best or even develop. It's only when you are faced with real life do you find out just how good you are at anything. The world is littered with failed geniuses and the average men who worked their butts off and became world leaders, innovators and financial giants in all walks of life.

Geniuses often get bored or are unstable and self destruct.
