Allright gentlemen and ladies, don't piss your pants, or get your panties in a rung...

I have found, and had, yet not gone through a book...

Tactics and Technique of Infantry-Basic

Copyright 1942 eleventh edition May 1942

Printed by Military Service Publishing Company, Harisburg Pens.

In the book It is signed.

Sgt. C.S. Dean

It is written in pen, now in marker there is a Gy. added before the Sgt. obviously at a later date, indicated a promotion or transfer to the marines, correct?

Anyone got any tips on looking this guy up?

I'll post pics if enough intrest is shown, it's in shabby shape, but all the information is there, and it also gots D O D or D 00 or something like that written on the top of the book where the pages all lay together...

Department of Defense is my guess or it's just someone scribbling on it, it's in pencil.

It also has Index pages and an Appendix page marking..

Perhaps for library use?

A) You want info on the guy that signed it or how to get in touch, and think someone here could help?

B) You are interested in selling?

C) You are proud of the purchase and want to show off?
