As usual the demo fails to convey the feeling of the full game, in most cases you don't get to see all the cool features but in this case you miss out on the many bugs, appaling frame rate, the planes that fly with endless E and wow at the sheer volume of missing features that are advertised on the box.

yes WW2ol , the game that cost me $80 for 2 games (me and a friend) $60 odd to ship to the UK, £40 odd to buy extra 256MB of memory,
and then wants $10 a month and gives me a bug ridden, frustrating lag fest of non fun.

drops to 5fps, warping and my machine is no slouch 900athlon 512mb 100mhzRAM 40 gig 100UDMA HD Geforce2.with ADSL connect.
Sure the videos look cool and hey if i want to make myself a nice movie its perfect!

only problem is with all the damn cost it would be cheaper to make a HOLLYWOOD BLOCKBUSTER!!!

WW2ol wont be getting anymore of my money for quite some time.

wwiiol is a peice of crap.

Yeah they make the game look SOOOOO GOOOD but when you bring it home you find yourself in a game that only has 3fps.

I played wwiiol through the beta in hope that it would be a great game but after they said that they will start the billing thats when i quit.

They cant make people pay for a game that should be still in beta.

[sarcasm on] Yea, Busman (and all the other guys making WWIIOL movies) lease time on a government crays just so they can make their games run good for their movie productions[/sarcasm off]

I will agree that the box specs PII450 is to low and that having more than 256megs of ram makes a huge difference, but I get 45+fps on my 1333 512ram geforce2 GTS with very few low spikes. Others are getting about the same performance on 650's and 700's with geforce 2 mx's and 384ram minus about 10 FPS. All of it flying which is where you will encounter your lowest FPS. Its not the same game as it was before 1.3 and there were even more gains made in 1.4

Geeeze guys, this isnt still June.

That movie really is really neat.  Was the soundtrack made exclusively for the WW2OL movie or was that taken from another source?  Anyone know the name of the artist/composer?  I want to download an mp3 version if possible.  :)

oct out!

The music, an aptly titled piece called "The Battle", is from the movie Gladiator.  IIRC the score was done by Hans Zimmer.

Try that for the MP3 search or buy/steal/burn/whatever yourself the  soundtrack or just buy the DVD.

Geeeze guys, this isnt still June.

Really!! It's almost six months later. One would think all the missing features, bad program code, most of the major bugs, the abysmal GUI and many serious gameplay issues would have been fixed by now.
