Just a little game with quotes or general trivia.....

Can anybody name the infantry regiment in my signature block??

The winner gets a date with the CT's famous flight model with all expences paid.

8th AF,  Pilots involved were flying B model Mustangs.

The two involved in the first quote/incident were aces as was the guy who made the second quote.

First incident was post D-Day, second was Pre-D-Day.

Should narrow the field a bit :)

Guy on the left in the photo above was paired with a former Eagle squadron pilot to form one of the best wingmen duos in the Spring of 1944.

Supposadly the length of a belt of  machine gun ammo for a fighter was 9 yards.

Not sure if it's true but that's where the saying comes from as I understand it.
