yeah yeah .. go go... rah rah liberal teachers union, you have held this country together single handedly thus far, you must be doing everything right huh?

if i had children i would rather starve to death myself than sacrifice the money to send them to a private school / home school

after that they would be knowlegdable enough to see through BS like that in college or latter schooling
I don't know what to put here yet.

What is happening at Brooklyn College is not representative of the 'US education system'.

So who ever said it is either ignorant or just making grand blanket statements because he can't put together a coherent argument to prove his point.

I wonder who that was?

oh but it is catching on.  "Diversity" is the new power buzzword on almost every campus.  It scares me that they have to FORCE people to be diverse instead of letting them do it on their own.  Then you have the PC thought patrol that allows you to say anythhing you want as long as it's not offensive to them.....and oh yea you say anything disagreeable and it is offensive and you created a "hostile learning environment".

There's nothing new about the word 'diversity' on college campuses.

Its been in use and practice from the '70's.

What you post in articles like the above are the exceptions that make  for good copy especially amongst right wing reactionaries.

Teachers will almost always lean to the left. That type of vocation (same with reporters and media types, lawyers, doctors etc...) attracts those starry eyed 'want to make a difference' types.

But 'Disposition' is not a sign of a 'miserably failing educational system'. If the US education system is as miserable as comrade genozaur claims then he should have no problem coming up with something a little more tangible.

yes but when we start discriminating for the sake of diversity in any number we completly undo any sense of equality some are trying to seek.  This is slowly becoming the rule and not the exception.
