Wow, the net must be clogged with pron surfers. Lag, disco, disco, disco. Can't even log into the game now.:(
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Why doesn't HT just switch providers or hosting services?  AH2 is pretty expensive per month compared to other online games, but the discos are really starting to get annoying.  I have noticed that when I get discoed I cannot even hit their website.

Never have I experienced this level of instability in a game (network wise)...and ive only played for 2 months.

Ok you posted a thread that has a lot of ping traces on it.  Thats great.  How is this the problem?  The problem seems to be that Savvis cannot handle the traffic that AH requires.  The fix would be a way to bypass savvis would it not?  Scuzzy started that thread back in in the first part of this year, and it is the middle of JUNE now.  Something is going on that can/should be fixed.

If another company is impacting another's business I would assume that it would not take 6 months to fix the problem.

Edit:  I for one do not believe it is a problem in the AH code or some sort of networking scheme they use for AH2...because almost always I cannot get to the HT website when I disco from the game.  That tells me it is a pure savvis problem.

what do you want HTC to do?

build their own internet?

call SAVIS, complain to them - there is ZERO HTC can do about this problem

no matter what, many of us will be handled by SAVIS. Until they get their act togther, we will experience this interruption of service
