Anyone, please! I'm dying here, how do you turn off that HUD information displayed in your lower left hand corner? I can't get it to go away for the life of me.

Also, I get what appears to be screen "lag" or screen update lag around only one area: when I have forrested areas (with the multilayered flat "trees") in view and only when it takes up more than 50% of the screen.
I have a V5 5500, I am going to upgrade to a GeForce3 when I get the money- but until then is this a common problem? Not stuttering, but all inputs appear to be slower. Such as going to external view, looking at the vegetation and then moving my mouse around it reacts slower than it should.
