Are trees bomb/rocket proof?
« on: June 10, 2005, 03:31:03 PM »
I've had a few occasions where Im dropping 1000 pound bombs or rockets from my P38's onto Panzers hidding in groves of trees.  I'm seeing a lot of craters over the GV, up in the branches.

Are these trees absorbing the impacts?  Do they block the proximity of the bomb hit/rocket hit?

It seems that bombs and rockets don't have downward blast radius. The blast is only an upward half-sphere. So if the explosive lands in a tree above the target, it has no effect.
