wow, once off the ground it goes straight verticle!!! Looks terribly unstable - would take a man with titanium nads to fly that thing.

it took a man with titanium nads to fly any of the fighters back then. and now for that matter.

but to get into that thing, you just have to be completely crazy.

The 163 was actually considered one of the most forgiving aircraft in the LW handling wise. Its designer would later go on and design the Go229 stealth fighter.

Very very nice movie! At first I didn't think it'd take-off, but suddenly it went vertical!

our Me163 is clearly undermoddeled, look at that thing go from takeoff straight to vertical, you cant do it in AH
