Ive been in the bomber tail gun, firing at a con...then having a squaddie crawling up the cons 6.  I've had to stop firing in fear of my tracers pinging him.

Not a bad idea.

The damage isn't increased, but it is all focused on your fuselage, meaning that while you may have scattered a burst of MGs across a wing, you're gonna get all of those rounds in the butt.

Went to the CT a week or so ago and my good ole buddy and wingman for the sortie ... Hub ... decided to see if KS was on. I have sneaky feeling he knew it was off.

I get a ... CHECK 6 ... tracers ... BOOM ... back in the tower for me ... much laughing on squad vox.

Needless to say ... payback is always a biatch.

Fracticide is encouraged in the BKs ... when available.

Dedalot, quit editting my quotes, that's my job. :p

On the lighter side, my next CT sortie after the 'Slapshot Test' resulted in me landing 3 kills without ever spotting an enemy. :D
Woooo woooo!!! Get some! Get some!!

Er, wait, that was my uh, brother in law, yeah, that's it. Terribly sorry.

This used to be the case, but changed with AHII. It is now maped to the closest area of the hit.

The first hit?  If you take 2 rounds 1 on left wing and the second on the right wing, where is the damaged focused?

Oh, okay. I thought I had it correctly, but I can't even find the post that was in, so I guess it was old. I don't shoot greens, so I'm not much of an expert. What's the scenario with 2 engine vs single engine planes? If I shoot Moopheus's #2 eng on his b24 while I'm in my la7, do I get a wing hit or an engine hit in return? (assuming I actually hit only the engine)

However, if you were to remove killshooter for squaddies, we could negotiate a parking slot for this truckload of scotch I hijacked yesterday, and stop worrying about this silly KS stuff. :aok

This was true in AH1.  AH2 changed killshooter so that it maps to the appropriate part of your plane.

In AW, if you killed a second friendly in a day, you were PNG.  Persona non grata......it meant you were done flying for that country for 24 hours.

I think we should have that back, frankly.    I liked it.

Abuse was limited - but it was fun to frag a dweeb once for the heck of it.

Forgotten, but back in the game.  :)
