First off, there is a curse on ALL professional Ohio teams. Bengals, Indians, Reds, Browns, Cavs (although they're looking up), they all suck. And the hockey team down in Columbus is a joke too.

Anyway, with that said, I'm in Canton, the original football town.

And as long as you know where to go fishing at in Ohio, you can catch some nice fish. Especially 40-80 pound catfish :)

Dlitz!

Nine in a row!  I don't live in Cleveland.  But I notice a lot of disparaging remarks about Cleveland.  My guess is they haven't been to Cleveland in quite awhile.  The North Coast Harbor is home to the rock & Roll Hall of Fame.  And the Science Museum.
Cleveland has two relatively new Sports Facilities with Jacobs Field a gorgeous Ballpark, and Browns Stadium.  The Warehouse district has been and is being transformed into Condo's that 99% of us could not afford.  And.....party Central "The Flats."

Most of those making remarks about Cleveland sports teams are probably young, don't know, don't care to know and are just plain ignortant of Sports History.  So those remarks I take as coming from uninformed sources.  They know recent history and nothing at all from the past...and not to far past either, within the last ten years.

Dlitz I've been to "The Jake" several times already.  On Aug the 2nd I don't know, in the distant future.

Strykker, if you are anywhere near Canton, try to get to Muligan's Pub. The best ribs I ever had. It's a 3.5 hour drive, but I've made the trip just to eat & drive right back home.

Another Buckeye here.

Perhaps there should be a min-con here sometime.. with the USAF Museum & the Dayton Airshow.
My password at work had to contain exactly 8 characters… I chose Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

As of right now I'm trying to get a few guys together from my squad to come to the Show. Got a couple of maybes, but nothing certain yet. There's a lot more that live in Ohio... SHawk and OGIE both live in Dayton, in fact I stayed with SHawk a few years ago when we went to the airshow. Was pretty cool too, there were 7 of us, all played AW. Had 4 or 5 computers in the basement, lol that just wasnt right.

Peidmont lake is a beautiful lake. Lot of catfish in there, big ones too. Chances if by chance you do land a shovelhead, it'll be tagged. My step dad, and his friends have released a lot of big fish in that lake. Rumor is there's over 100 pound shovel heads in that friggin place, but no one has seen them.... yet.

As far as the sports teams. I know about Clevelands sports "history". I remember the browns from the '80s, the Indians in the '90s... especially '95 and '97. Cavs... well they're just the haves. Havent been the same since Brad D. played for them. But as of lately, everything has just been a up hill struggle at 2 mph.

P.S. Mulligan's Pub is very good, but if you want ribs... go to Damon's, it's right down the road. In my opinion, Damon's has the best ribs around. Pretty pricey last i checked tho.

P.S.S. Rob, we need to get together sometime and have a beer or somethin.
