Video & Hardware Issues
« on: June 09, 2005, 06:48:58 PM »
I need Help Bad!, I have reviewed a few of the video issues for running AH2. I cannot play at all without it freezing up, offline or online. I have a Invidia GEForce mx440 64meg Card, AMD Sempron 3100, 512 meg Ram. I cannot even play AH1 without it freezing.. Am going through withdrawls. I updated my system on a budget , of course, to play AH2. Am having to play IL2 in the meantime. If it is a heat issue what can I get to monitor the heat on my card?

Suggestion for possible heat issue is remove case side panel and place a fan to blow into case.

Freezing does not sound like a heat issue but not a guru here.

Settings!  Place everything to lowset settings, do NOT load skins, Turn off Skins etc etc etc........

Drivers ... check for latest version that works for your operating system!

Are you running windows XP?

Heard Windows XP needs at least 1 meg memory for best results.

Does your motherboard have native support for a simpron cpu? Most mobos need a bios flash to properly run a simpron, it will run without it but it's unstable and AH2 will bring a unstable machine to it's knees.
